People have danced in circles for as long as we can tell and in many parts of the world they still do.
We use a wide range of music, fairly simple steps and holding hands in a circle, dance and engage body, mind and spirit. The dances are often linked to the seasons and time of year.
Circle dancing is something to experience. It is
- great physical exercise (although not too strenuous)
- keeps your mind alert learning simple steps and routines
- releases emotions so good for your mental health
- sociable
-calms and stills the mind and body
Each dance is taught so it is suitable for people with no experience.
